Fighting Morning Headaches
Updated: Oct 12
Did you wake up with another headache? Try swapping the term "Pain" for "Pressure", our nervous system is a circuit of competing inputs, and by swapping these two words -- pain and pressure -- we can have a better understanding of how to alleviate our discomfort.
Start on your side and post on your elbow with your hip against the wall. Then, flip over on your back and place your feet up against the wall. Press your shoulders into the ground and raise your bellybutton just a little bit and relax your legs. Allow your ribcage to rise and fall, and stay in this position for 25 breaths, 1-3 times a day.
