How Pain Such as Carpal Tunnel Starts With Your Neck
At Bout2BeBetter your treatment will always start with a postural assessment. This assessment isn't only meant to test your posture, but it also tests your nervous system to see how it responds to input, which gives the framework of your treatment.
For example, shoulder pain could just be pain, inflexibility, and/or a frozen shoulder. All of these symptoms start at the neck. When the joints in your neck are compressed, this may cause pain such as headaches, and stem all the way down your arm which may also cause Carpal Tunnel. It's important for treatment to start at the neck because skipping straight to your arm, wrist, and/or hand may worsen your symptoms which is the complete opposite of what we want to do.
